Suffrage Record in Congress.
August 12th, 1913. Senator Weeks was absolutely opposed to woman suffrage and to the amendment; said he had made up his mind over thirty years ago on that subject and "never changed his mind; certainly did not expect to on this question. It would make him the laughing stock of the Senate, at this late day."
