Scope & Content Scrapbook contains newspaper clippings related to suffrage, including the Congressional Union for Woman's Suffrage and NAWSA, Nina Allender, parades and speeches led by suffragists, and voting on the constitutional amendment in congress.

Also, in the scrapbook is a hand-written note dated March 12, 1962 to Betty Powell. On the back side of this paper is a list of scrapbooks of the Nat. Woman's Party, including Mrs. Allender's Clippings...Past date in Mrs. Allender's Scrapbook May 2, 1914.

The scrapbook is a notebook with a green cover. On the front is a torn address label with National Woman's Party/ 144 B Street, Northeast/ Capitol Hill/ Washington 2 D.C. /10. On the label is handwritten "Mrs. Allender's clippings" and "1914". The scrapbook consists of newspaper clippings affixed to notebook pages. Numerous pages have torn corners and edges and newspaper clippings have browned with age. Numerous pages are not bound. On some pages, handwritten ink is covered over by clippings affixed to the page. The latter half of the notebook is blank notebook pages.
