National Woman's Party Scrapbook Collection - 1944.001.002

The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, photographs, pamphlets, and ephemera related to the National Woman's Party between 1929 and 1938. The scrapbook has a front cover of faux green leather with Scrap Book in the center rectangle surrounded by an ornamental border and a plain faux leather back. The scrapbook is bound by a string. Numerous pages are not bound and there are loose items.

Marble statue titled on the base: "Jehanne au Sacre" [Jeanne d'Arc (1412-1431)], sculpted by Prosper d'Epinay (1836-1914) in 1902. The woman depicted is wearing a helmet, chain mail, armour, a bronze scabbard, and a covering with gold fleurs-de-lis on it. She is holding the handle of a metal sword in her clasped hands, its point between her feet. Behind her is the base of a column.
