Each strip is attached to the next with flat-felled seams and the banner is hemmed at either side. At left edge is a white cotton twill hanging sleeve. Manufacturer's mark reading "S.N. MEYER 1327 F. ST. N.W. WASH. D.C." in black within a black rectangle (faded to brown) is printed at top of hanging sleeve.

Small rectangular tricolor banner in horizontal bands of purple ("violet"), white, and yellow ("gold") wool. Each strip is attached to the next with flat-felled seams and the banner is hemmed at either side. At the top edge is a white cotton twill hanging sleeve, through which is threaded a wooden pole, which is nailed to the hanging sleeve at either end. A brown cotton rope is knotted and nailed to the left end of the pole and detached from right end, with pin and nail present (now removed and retained).

Each strip is attached to the next with flat-felled seams and the banner is hemmed at either side. At the top edge is a white cotton twill hanging sleeve, through which is threaded a wooden pole, which is nailed to the hanging sleeve at either end. The pole is broken in the center. A brown cotton rope is knotted at either end and nailed to the left end of the pole, while the right end of the pole is broken off. Rusty nail present in right end of pole was removed and retained. A silver thumbtack attaches the flag to the pole at the left edge.

Rectangular yellow wool banner with purple cotton sateen appliqued lettering reading "National Woman's Party" in all capitals. Banner is folded over and hemmed at top and bottom and folded into tubes at each side, lined with cotton muslin and possibly a stiffened interlining. At the top of each tube is a leather piece with holes meant to hook to poles for display. A flat tube of unbleached muslin has been attached to top edge of reverse side of banner for hanging.

Rectangular yellow cotton sateen banner with purple painted lettering reading "Mr. President what will you do for Woman Suffrage" in block capitals. Scalloped bottom edge has delicate yellow fringe, possibly silk, overlaid with black crepeline. Top of banner turned over to form hanging tube. Banner is backed in unbleached cotton muslin sewn to the edges with running stitch and forming a hanging tube at top.

"Great Demand" banner reading "We demand an amendment to the United States Constitution enfranchising women" (all capitals). Banner is made of two loom widths of yellow cotton sateen fabric, attached by a flat-felled seam at center using white thread and surrounded by a three-inch white cotton sateen edging on all sides. Lettering is in faded purple cotton sateen, machine-appliqued with a zigzag stitch. Reverse of banner is backed with Japanese paper glued to the banner fabric. At the top reverse of the banner is a three-inch sleeve pocket for hanging.

Cotton muslin bag made of two pieces of cotton seamed at the center, with two self-fabric handles at top and embroidery in blue cotton thread. "Occoquan Aug 20 '17" is embroidered in stem stitch on bottom left corner of front, and an "NGH" monogram, also in stem stitch, is embroidered at bottom right corner of front. A strip of feather stitch is embroidered at right portion of back section. A paper place card reading "Miss Gray place-card of dinner in honor of 6 pickets released-- Sept. 1917--"Cameron House," Washington-- D.C." is attached to the left side of the bag with a round metal eyelet that pierces through both sides.

Used at memorial service for Jose Marti and equal rights gathering on January 28, 1928 at the Aula Magna in Havana, Cuba.

Rectangular synthetic tricolor banner in vertical bands of yellow ("gold"), white, and purple ("violet"). Each strip is attached to the next with flat-felled seams. Pointed bottom edge has applied white fringe. Top edge is folded over and sewn into a sleeve through which is threaded a cotton cord. At yellow portion of sleeve is a stamped logo of an eagle reading "Colonial Nyl-Glo" in all capitals. Additional type below and to right of logo is indecipherable.
