Rectangular tri-color banner with two layers of tricolors, one on top of the other, in alternating strips of purple ("violet"), white, yellow ("gold"), purple("violet"), white, and yellow ("gold"). Strips are attached with flat-felled seams. At the top of the banner is sewn a purple satin ribbon, to form a hanging sleeve.

Rectangular banner made of white material, possibly paint-covered fabric, with purple and green printed lettering reading "Votes for Women." Underneath lettering at bottom right side of front is printed "Calhoun, (International Allied Printing Trades Council Label) Hartford, CT. in all capitals. Edges of banner are unfinished. Very fragile, not able to be displayed.

"3 x 5" is stamped in black on the reverse of the hanging strip near the lower grommet.

Rectangular tricolor banner in bands of yellow ("gold"), white, and purple ("violet") wool. Each strip is attached to the next with flat-felled seams and the banner is hemmed at either side. At left edge is a white cotton hanging sleeve with silver-toned grommets at either end and the letters "BID(?)" stamped on far right edge of the sleeve's reverse. A wooden pole is threaded through slits to the inside of the grommets and nailed to the hanging sleeve next to the slits. At either end of the pole there is an additional nail, to the outside of which is tied a white cotton rope on either side.

Rectangular yellow wool banner with purple cotton sateen appliqued lettering reading "National Woman's Party" in all capitals. Banner is folded over and hemmed at top and bottom and folded into tubes at each side, lined with cotton muslin and possibly a stiffened interlining. At the top of each tube is a leather piece with holes meant to hook to poles for display. A flat tube of unbleached muslin has been attached to top edge of reverse side of banner for hanging.

Congresswoman Jeanette Rankin holds her arms out to the young girl, the suffrage amendment, while two women look on in the background saying "That child needs a woman to look after her." The caption written on the original drawing reads "Come to Mother-When Miss Rankin Came to Congress." The artist wrote the date March 19, 1917 on the original.

"Great Demand" banner reading "We demand an amendment to the United States Constitution enfranchising women" (all capitals). Banner is made of two loom widths of yellow cotton sateen fabric, attached by a flat-felled seam at center using white thread and surrounded by a three-inch white cotton sateen edging on all sides. Lettering is in faded purple cotton sateen, machine-appliqued with a zigzag stitch. Reverse of banner is backed with Japanese paper glued to the banner fabric. At the top reverse of the banner is a three-inch sleeve pocket for hanging.

Cotton muslin bag made of two pieces of cotton seamed at the center, with two self-fabric handles at top and embroidery in blue cotton thread. "Occoquan Aug 20 '17" is embroidered in stem stitch on bottom left corner of front, and an "NGH" monogram, also in stem stitch, is embroidered at bottom right corner of front. A strip of feather stitch is embroidered at right portion of back section. A paper place card reading "Miss Gray place-card of dinner in honor of 6 pickets released-- Sept. 1917--"Cameron House," Washington-- D.C." is attached to the left side of the bag with a round metal eyelet that pierces through both sides.
