"The block weights eight tons is eight feet eight inches at highest point" and "The marble the oxen & myself as we enter the only bit of street with trees in Carrara. Through the arch of trees one sees...here a little of the...surrounding mountains. Studio at Carrara. Adelaide Johnson. July 1920."
