Title Small wool tricolor banner with horizontal pole, 1913-1920

Description Small rectangular tricolor banner in horizontal bands of purple ("violet"), white, and yellow ("gold") wool. Each strip is attached to the next with flat-felled seams and the banner is hemmed at either side. At the top edge is a white cotton twill hanging sleeve, through which is threaded a wooden pole, which is nailed to the hanging sleeve at either end. A brown cotton rope is knotted and nailed to the left end of the pole and detached from right end, with pin and nail present (now removed and retained).
